Firing order

A Quality distributor cap will have the firing order stamped next to the spark plug wire input socket. The firing order of the Land Cruiser 6 cylinder is
1-5-3-6-2-4.

Advance and Retard Timing

To advance timing, rotate the distributor counter or anti clockwise. To retard timing rotate the distributer clockwise.
