Over time the dowel pins in the shift tower can become worn and loose. Replacing the stock Toyota pins is difficult, it requires removing the tower from the transmission and building tooling to install the pins. Our new Shift Tower Dowel Pin Fix-It Kit allows you to install new dowel pins without removing the shift tower. Kit includes both pins, washers and nuts.

Do you have a problem where the transfercase oil level goes down and the transmission oil level goes up? This is caused by a failure of the seal between the transfercase and transmission, allowing the transfercase to pump its oil into the transmission. In extreme cases the transmission will overfill creating a mess when it starts to leak out of the shift tower and out of the input shaft seal soaking the clutch disc. The transfercase will then contain very little oil accelerating wear and possibly causing a great deal of internal damage. This kit allows the excess oil in the transmission to drain back into the transfercase. Kit includes fittings for both transmission and transfer fill ports and hose to connect them.

Attention column linkage owners! Are your shift lengths getting longer and longer from old worn linkage? Is your shift handle loose and floppy? Many of these replacement parts are no longer available new from Toyota. If you have a V-8, or run headers that do not fit with factory column linkage, SOR has a solution. You can upgrade to a factory O.E.M. 3 speed Floorshift Kit, unfortunately most of these parts are no longer new from Toyota, so SOR offers these parts used. This kit fits 1964-1972 models with 3 speed transmissions. Kit comes with used transmission shift tower assembly, and used shift lever assembly. You will also need to order gasket #056-17, retainer #056-77, shift boot #056-76, #056-28B shift knob and lever boot #056-31 for installation. Optional back up switch can be easily installed to the top cover, see #056-37B.
