Specter is making ordering parts easy again with the Brake Spring Kit. By simply using one part number you can order all the brake springs and retainer clips for an entire axle. This kit includes four of each of the following part numbers: 081-16 Brake Spring, 081-17 Retainer Pin, 081-18 Retainer Clip, 081-19 Backing Plate Plugs, 018-20 Adjuster Plugs. Kit does both drums on one axle.

When rebuilding your wheel cylinders it is a good idea to rebuild both cylinders per wheel. If you rebuild only one cylinder the new rebuilt side may be stronger and tend to blow-out the weak one. Specter also recommends that all wheel cylinder adjusters should be brushed with #200-31 Anti Seize to prevent them from rusting & freezing up.
