Specter Off-Road only uses top quality automotive bearings in our kits that meet or exceed the original factory manufacturing specifications. You will find only quality bearings from American, Japanese or European manufacturers at Specter Off-Road.

We here at SOR have noticed a number of less expensive bearings showing up in the Land Cruiser marketplace. Several bearings we have inspected are much lower quality than the original equipment Toyota bearing. Insist on high quality replacement bearings for your Cruiser.

If you are planning on replacing the rear axle bearings on your Cruiser you can now order all the necessary parts using one part number. Kit contains rear wheel bearings, rear wheel seals, rear axle washers, C-clips, differential inspection cover gasket, drain plug gasket and center shaft retainer pin.

Service Tip

Always replace C-clips (#088-01) when removing axle shafts. When replacing seals or bearings order differential gasket #090-40. Also check shaft (see 090-13) for scoring or wear. Oil leakage is a sign of a grooved race where the oil seal rides or bearing failure. Be sure to inspect rear axle bearing #5 and the oil seal #6 when this occurs.
