Click on an image above for a larger view SOR is proud to announce that we are now manufacturing a replacement OEM Factory type canvas soft top. You know that really cool Safari look from the depths of Africa? Our top is designed to reproduce that original look and quality of the factory OEM soft top made by Toyota. So for those of you who still have your original factory soft top bows we now have a soft top for you. The tops are made from the same durable Denim lined Haartz material that was used by AMC for the Original Equipment Jeep soft top. SOR has incorporated late model hi-tech weatherproof sport top material into this timeless design. Heat sealed windows, double top stitched and sealed seams for additional weather resistance. Designed to be installed with the original factory soft top bows, hardware and twist fasteners. The SOR Soft Top uses hold down straps for the rear window panel just like the Toyota OEM soft top. Fits 1961-1984 FJ40/BJ40 with square cut front doors. If you still have your factory soft doors, Specter Off-Road has also made available matching replacement door skins. Order separately, part #268-205. This soft top is made by SOR in the good old USA, so you know the quality is number one! If you have your original OEM factory soft top bows, hardware AND OEM FACTORY WINDSHIELD CHANNEL then order part number 268-100-GY. If you have your original bows, hardware but NO WINDSHIELD CHANNEL then order part number 268-155-GY. The Aftermarket windshield channel is sold separate; see part #272-44. The SOR Soft Tops requires a quantity of 20 factory twists part #268-300, order separately if needed. If ordering #268-155-GY, order #272-44 Tiger Channel if needed. If this top is being installed on a 1975-1984 40 Series Land Cruiser equipped with ambulance style doors, you will need to purchase a tailgate panel, see page 271, order separately if needed. If you are using a tailgate panel, it will require 4 footman loops part #268-308, order separately if needed. We suggest you download the installation instructions prior to ordering this top. Reproduction Door Weatherstrip Kit #122-205 Installed (click on picture for a larger view) Soft Top Door Weatherstrip - Fits OEM factory softop doors. Sold each. Kit includes one long piece for sides and bottom and one short piece for the top of the door. Two piece kit does outer weatherstrip for one door. Weatherstrip must be trimmed and mitered to fit. Tailgate Panel #271-75 Installed (click on picture for a larger view) When it's time to take off your hardtop and doors, Specter Off-Road suggests the purchase of a SOR Tailgate Panel to fit in place of your rear ambulance style doors. This tailgate panel is stationary and uses existing door hinge mounting holes and hardware. Made of steel with spot welded flanges and folded edges. It comes in either a black or white powder coated finish, and is predrilled for the licence plate bracket assembly. Will not fit 1958-1974 40 Series. Available in Black (B) or White (W) finishes.
