The S-O-R Bestop Tigertop has a unique powder coated bow system that has independently adjustable sides to accommodate even the not so straight Cruiser body tub. This adjustable bow system holds the fabric taut to eliminate noisy flapping material on the highway. This S-O-R Bestop Tigertop comes complete with all necessary hardware and full size soft doors. Even though our S-O-R Bestop Tigertop fits the original Toyota metal doors, it is sold complete with soft doors so you have a choice of doors you can use. Our soft doors use flush fitting paddle handles to eliminate them grabbing brush on the trails. The S-O-R Bestop Tigertop uses snaps to hold the top material to the body tub. The advantage of snaps is if they get damaged they are easily repaired or replaced. The snaps are covered by a protective flap of material. This fabric is finished flush with the vertical body side, hiding the angled top edge of the body tub. The result is a nicely finished appearance, unlike other tops that do not cover the upper body seam. The rear window also uses snaps for attachment to the body. This is more secure than the Velcro used on other tops. The S-O-R Bestop Tigertop has D.O.T. approved windows that are seam sealed to the top fabric to eliminate potential leaks. Side and rear windows zip open using high quality YKK nylon coil zippers. The rear and side windows also roll up for maximum ventilation, and the open air Safari look. Specter Off-Road's Tiger Top is NOT the same top that other suppliers sell. Specter's Tiger Top is Custom made by Bestop exclusively for Specter Off-Road. We have had this Private Labeled Top made specially for Specter Off- Road since 1989. This top is made from the same 18oz Denim lined Haartz material that the OEM Jeep tops are made of. We are the only supplier of the Tiger Top that has this material. Our top can be identified by our sewn in label that is installed at the Bestop manufacturing facility. This sewn in label is on the passenger side of the top above the rear window. Bestop does not sell this top any other supplier. Other vendors of Tiger Tops are selling a top made from a fabric called Crush. This fabric is similar in appearance to Naugahide Vinyl. Tigertops are UPSable! This Tigertop bow system is unique, if you have an older Cruiser it’s difficult to have a straight body on a vehicle that’s over 20 years old, this bow system will allow you to adjust both sides so your softop has a nice tight fit. The windows are DOT approved and do not have that blinding glare as do some softops. The side windows and the back windows roll up and allow you to have full ventilation, but still have protection from the sun or rain. The ability to have the sides roll up makes it easy access for equipment in and out of the car. When your on the trail and want to reach for a cold one, easy side access is the hot ticket! The Tigertop makes a perfect year-round top. Can be used as a full softop, or you can have an open top by unzipping & rolling up the side & back windows.
