WARNING - Car Buying Scam

Please be cautious of any emails where a person claims to have a client who is interested in purchasing your vehicle. They will offer to send you a check in an amount that is greater than the cost of the vehicle (i.e. - they agree to pay $8,000.00 for the vehicle, but will send you a check in the amount of $15,000.00). They ask you to deduct the amount for the vehicle and send them back the remaining balance. They might be pushy or act like they are on a time limit, and they sound legitimate, but THIS IS A SCAM!!

Guidelines
  1. Limit of 4 FREE private-party ads per person. Extra ads will be deleted.
  2. Ads placed in all capital letters will be deleted.
  3. sor.com reserves the right not to publish any ad that does not follow the policy of the publisher.
  4. Ads that are deemed prank in nature will be deleted.
  5. All duplicate ads will be deleted.
  6. Ads WITHOUT a Valid Email Address will be deleted.
  7. Advertisments for ads on Auction Sites will not be posted.
  8. Ads are for vehicle sales only - Ads for parts for sale or wanted will be DELETED.
If you want to add a picture of your vehicle, you must reply to your confirmation email and attach a picture of the vehicle for sale. Pictures should be attached to the email, NOT inserted into the email. Pictures should be in ".jpg" format, 72 dpi and no larger than 640 pixels in width. If you do not submit your photo in this format the computer cannot place your picture and it will not be added.
