Service Tip: Brake Master Cylinder
1958-7/70: Fluid leaking inside the cab on the firewall, replace or rebuild master.
7/70 and later: fluid leaking from between the master and the booster, replace or rebuild the master. Fluid level drop in one reservoir and an increase in the other is an internal leak, replace or rebuild master. Always hone the cylinder when rebuilding and flush entire system using new brake fluid.
