Change your shipping and billing address by entering your new information. Clicking "Continue Shopping" at the bottom of submits the new information and returns you to your previous page.

Click on the Change Password link to change your password. You will need your old password to do so. Enter your new password. Then enter your new password again to confirm.

Click on the Change Email Address link to change your email address. You will need your password to do so. Enter your password and your new address. Then enter your new address again to confirm.

Click on the View Past Invoices link to view a chronological list of your invoices. Click on any in the list to view the invoice.

A red circle with a line through it indicates that the product is not in stock. If the Add to Cart button is red, it can still be put into your cart but availability and delivery time are unknown. Be aware that ordering parts not in stock will delay your order. In most cases these parts are either on order, not normally stocked, special order or used parts. In some cases the part may go discontinued. Used parts require at least 24 hours extra to process. Give us a call for availability.

A green check mark indicates that the product is in stock and can be ordered for delivery.

After clicking the "Add to Cart" button, the Add to Cart button displays as "In Cart" with a green dot and the quantity field is no longer editable. Go to your shopping cart to change quantities or remove an item.

Parts with grayed out "Add to Cart" buttons are parts that have been discontinued by the manufacturer. In most cases we are looking for a suitable replacement. They will also have a "Not Available" symbol (red circle with a line through it) in the "In Stock" column of the product purchase table.

These thumbnail images link directly to part listings related to the assembly line drawing. They also act as quick links to related assemblies not on the current page.

This example page shows OEM and Aftermarket Ring and Pinion sets. It was modified from page 090 of the catalog. If this were a live page, the link for Aftermarket Sets would navigate you to page 291 Aftermarket Ring and Pinion page away from page 090.

Simply stated, this is the page title.

The page number system that Specter uses relates to the cataloging system we used back in the 80's for our printed catalog. The page number also relates to the part number; historically, a typical part number is the page number plus the number of the part in the assembly drawing. For example, the ring gear in the assembly drawing is numbered 10. So the beginning of the part number is 090-10. If you were look to purchase a ring gear, you would click on the number 10 in the assembly drawing then scroll through the list until you find the the complete number including the letter designation. A complete part number for a ring gear that fits a 1/79-8/87 Land Cruiser would be #090-10F. Page number also have Alpha desiginations.

The advanced search helps you find what you need quicker. Enter one of the following:

• A brief description (example: Air Cleaner)
• The catalog page (example: 012)
• The part number (example: 012-01)

The easiest way to find a part is to enter a short description in the search field i.e. "Air Cleaner". That returns a listing of all pages that contain Air Cleaners. If you happen to know the page number then enter the first 3 digits. The browser will navigate to the page entered. SOR page numbers are always 3 digits (012). The page number plus the item number (012-01) entered in the advance search will return a list of parts beginning with those 5 digits (include the dash). The item number could be a number in a line drawing or in a part listing. Adding the letter designation to the 5 digit number creates the part number (#012-01A). This example is simplistic but gives you an idea. Part numbers can get extensive depending factors like part, year and model of vehicle. If you enter "012-12" in the search field you'll begin to understand

Displays an alphabetical listing/index of catalog pages. Listed alphabetically by page title. Once on the index, with a click or tap you can optionally view the list by page number. The page numbers relate to our legacy printed catalog. Oldtimers know that a page number is also key to an SOR part number. Click or tap the title to navigate to that section of the page.

Click the logo to navigate back the the SOR home page.

Specter has made printing our catalog pages simple. Clicking on the printer icon prints everything in the body of any page of our web site formatted to fit standard letter size paper.

To shop the SOR website it is not required that you login. When logged in, your items will be saved in your shopping cart. Continue shopping and add items to your cart over a few days, then submit your order when ready. Logging in give you access to change your password and view past invoices. Once registered and logged in, the word "Login" changes to "Welcome Your Name" and "Register" changes to "Logoff". Simply click your name in the top right corner of the screen to gain access. View your info and edit as needed. Click "Logoff" to log out of the system.

In order to keep track of items in your cart, you will need to register. Even if you are a current SOR customer, you will need to register for the new system to save your customer information. It's easy to do! Just enter your email address, your first and last name, and your postal zip code. If you are an SOR CLUB MEMBER, you will need to enter your SOR CLUB Customer Membership number in order to guarantee you receive your club discount.

Clicking the Shopping cart button navigates to the shopping cart/checkout section of the catalog. There you will be able to edit items in your cart, such as increasing quantities and removing items from your cart. Logging in will navigate you to your shopping cart. Items from a previous shopping session will combine items currently in your cart if any exist.

• Items from a previous session will temporarily display with a yellow background.
• Duplicated items temporarily display with a pink background. Check quantities needed of duplicated part numbers.
• To change quantities enter the new amount and click "Redo Total". To remove an item from your cart, enter zero ("0") for the quantity and click redo total.

You can continue shopping by clicking the "continue shopping" button, entering a search query, or picking a category from the context menu in the left panel. You can also start over by clicking the Clear Cart button or expedite your order by clicking the Checkout button.

Use the page forward and backward button to browse the Specter Off-Road web site page by page.

Click buttons to quickly navigate to the selection of choice. A white button signifies your current page. Use the page forward and backward button to page through the subpages.

Page tabs organize each page into more finite sections usually separating models or production periods.

Use "Top of Page" buttons to return to the top of the current page.

On this tab buttons subdivide long pages by linking to products and sections farther down the page. Use "Top of Page" buttons to return to the top of the page.

The context menu on the left side of the web site affords our customers quick access to pages based on category or vehicle system. Mouse over a section; use your mouse to follow the submenus as they appear. Click on the section of interest to go to that page.

Assembly drawings are a convenient way to purchase parts from SOR. They provide a reference point ensuring you purchase all the part required to do the job right. Click on these numbers to navigate to a listing of that numbered part. Purchase your part from that listing based on the production date and model of your Land Cruiser.

• You can purchase complete assemblies by clicking on any black numbered square in the upper left corner of the outlined assembly.
• Numbers with line leaders to parts are individual parts.
• Bracketed parts in drawings with single numbers signify part numbers of subassemblies.

Product images on the SOR web site can be magnified for a better view. The mouse cursor will change to a magnifying glass on images that can be zoomed. Multiple images can be zoomed for comparison.

• Click to zoom product images. Click multiple images if needed.
• Click and hold down the mouse button to drag the image to a new location for comparison.
• Click the image again to return to normal view.

Some images will zoom beyond the viewing area of your device. An icon will appear in the lower right corner of those images.

• Click the icon to expand the zoomed image to full resolution
• Click and drag the full resolution image to view different parts of the image

Click the "Add to Cart" button to add an item to your shopping cart. Once clicked, the button displays as "In Cart" with a green dot and the quantity field is no longer editable.

A shopping cart quick view will temporarily appear at the top of the page to confirm the addition. Either click the "X" to close it or let it fade away on its own.

In some cases you will want more than one of an item. Change the number in the quantity field before clicking the "Add to Cart" button, that quantity will added to your cart. You can change quantities or remove an item in your shopping cart by going to your shopping cart and editing amount. Be sure to click the "Redo Total" button to update totals

Click on these blue highlighted numbers to navigate to a complete listing of that part number. In this case, clicking the number would give you a list of all #090-36 numbers (090-36A - 090-36D-R). Purchase your part from that listing based on the production date and model of your Land Cruiser.
