Remember, your upholstery will only be as good as the base you have to work with, most likely your foam is as old as the worn upholstery you are replacing. New foam padding will greatly improve the comfort and support of your ride. SOR's upholstery sets are designed to fit properly with new foam installed so the new seat covers have a snug, tailored fit. If you use your old worn foams the new seat covers may be loose. Anytime you reupholster your seats it's crucial to replace the old worn out foam or especially older models that used the horsehair type padding. New padding is a 'must do', SOR's Upholstery Seat Covers are designed to fit tight with new updated foams. Technology is always moving forward allowing us to offer you a better quality replacement seat foam padding. Sold each.
SOR Seat Bottom Foam - Jump Seat Upholstery is found on page 311. They’re tailor made to match our front seat covers. Complete kits are sold that include seat foam. Be sure to check the condition of your straps, twists, hardware and bumpers on your jump seats. Specter has made them available on page 311 or see page 118 for all stock front and rear seat assembly parts that you may need.

This material is a vinyl coated canvas with a tough denim lining, it is completely waterproof and extremely durable. These upholstery sets are sewn to factory patterns and OEM dimensions. SOR's Formed Seat Foams are manufactured from Qualex commercial grade high resolution seat foam. Each formed piece is custom designed to fit for your application. Qualex 1 inch top foam, backed with 3/4 inch layer of polyethylene pad pan filler which provides support and keeps the springs in place and not coming thru the upper foam, Qualex outer border that skirts the seat, allow for extra layer of padding and also prevents the springs and wires from cutting thru the sides of your new upholstery. The 40 series vehicles built from 9/72 to 1978 with bucket seats have a limited amount of leg room for the driver. The Driver Seat Extension Kit adds 2 1/2 inches of additional leg room, increasing driver comfort for people 5 feet 8 inches and taller. This is a restoration quality part and is very OEM in appearance. Matte black powder coat finish. No drilling or modifications required, bolt in installation.

- Comes with hogrings and reinforcements. They're not just a value-add for a marketing sake like the other guys offer. They've always been part of the kit.

- Remember, your upholstery will only be as good as the base you have to work with, most likely your foam is as old as the worn upholstery you are replacing. New foam padding will greatly improve the comfort and support of your ride. SOR's upholstery sets are designed to fit properly with new foam installed so the new seat covers have a snug, tailored fit. If you use your old worn foams the new seat covers may be loose. Anytime you reupholster your seats it's crucial to replace the old worn out foam or especially older models that used the horsehair type padding. New padding is a 'must do', SOR's Upholstery Seat Covers are designed to fit tight with new updated foams. Technology is always moving forward allowing us to offer you a better quality replacement seat foam padding. SOR's Formed Seat Foams are manufactured from Qualex commercial grade high resolution seat foam. Each formed piece is custom designed to fit for your application. Qualex 1 inch top foam, backed with 3/4 inch layer of polyethylene pad pan filler which provides support and keeps the springs in place and not coming thru the upper foam, Qualex outer border that skirts the seat, allow for extra layer of padding and also prevents the springs and wires from cutting thru the sides of your new upholstery. Be sure to check the condition of your straps, twists, hardware and bumpers on your jump seats. Matching Texture and ColorUpholstery, Carpet and Seat Covers Fabrics, carpets, and colored materials used to manufacture seat covers, carpet sets and other cosmetic items will vary in color from dye lot to dye lot. So for example, a gray seat cover made today will be a slightly different color and texture from a cover made from a different lot of material years ago from the same manufacturer. SOR recommends if you are interested in carpets, seat covers and other fabric items matching color and texture, that they be ordered at the same time so the items are made from the same dye lot of material. SOR can not be responsible for color and texture of items purchased at different times.
